Great. Also, the zipper on my old one broke 😕
Sorry about that! Jackets have a 2-year warranty. I’ve passed this to our team with your order details, and they’ll email you today.

Warranty claim: broken zipper

Sam R., order AP-10421. Wants a repair or replacement. Needs photos.

The problem

Most of your support inbox is the same five questions.

Every one gets a reply, because a slow answer costs you a sale or a review. So you copy-paste tracking links at 11pm instead of growing the store.

Customers expect an answer in minutes, not the next morning.
Hiring a support person is expensive for a small store.
Generic chatbots give canned answers and can’t see orders.

What it does

Like a trained support person who never sleeps.

It learns your policies, products and tone, then answers on your website chat and by email.

Looks up real orders

Checks status and tracking in your store, and only shares details when the customer’s email matches the order.

Answers in your voice

Shipping, returns, sizing and product questions, written the way you’d write them. Friendly, short, on-brand.

Hands off the hard ones

Refunds, complaints, warranty claims and anything it isn’t sure about go to you with a one-line summary.

Replies in seconds, 24/7

Weekend and late-night shoppers get an answer while they still want to buy, not the next morning.

Never makes promises

It won’t offer refunds, discounts or exceptions on its own. Those decisions stay with you.

Gets better every month

We review the conversations with you and fill the gaps, so it answers more and hands off less over time.

The handoff

It knows when to stop and call you.

The goal isn’t to replace you. It’s to clear the routine questions so you only see the ones that need a human.

It answers

The routine bulk of your inbox

  • Where’s my order / tracking
  • Return and exchange policy, how to start one
  • Sizing and fit, product details
  • Shipping times, costs, countries, duties
  • Payment options and discount code rules

It hands to you

With the order and a summary attached

  • Refund requests and exceptions
  • Damaged items and warranty claims
  • Upset or frustrated customers
  • Anything not covered by your policies
  • Whenever a customer asks for a person
1. Customer is told“I’ve passed this to our team, they’ll reply by email.” No dead ends.
2. You get a summaryIn your email or helpdesk: who, which order, what they want.
3. You reply as usualFrom your normal inbox. Nothing new to log into.
See it work

Try it on a real-looking store.

Alder & Pine Outfitters is a made-up outdoor clothing shop with real policies, products and sample orders.

Ask it anything a customer would.

Open the demo store, click Chat with us, and try:

  • “Where’s order AP-10421?” with sam.rivera@example.com
  • “I’m 39 inches chest, which jacket size?”
  • “My zipper broke, I want a refund.” Then check the Owner inbox tab.

FAQ

Questions store owners ask us

How accurate is it?

It only answers from your own policies, FAQ and order data, not from guesses or the open internet. For a typical small store that covers most incoming questions, often around 70%. When something isn’t covered, it says so and hands the conversation to you instead of making something up.

What if it gets something wrong?

It’s built to be cautious: it never promises refunds, discounts or exceptions, and it hands anything unclear to you. During the preview week you test it before customers ever see it.

After launch we review conversations with you every month. If an answer was off, we fix the source (usually a policy that needed spelling out) so it doesn’t happen again.

Why not just install Tidio, Gorgias or Shopify Inbox?

Those are good tools, but they’re tools: you still have to set up the AI, write its answers, decide the rules and keep it up to date. Most small store owners don’t have the time, so the bot ends up giving vague answers or none.

We do that work for you. The assistant is trained on your own policies and products, follows clear handoff rules (refunds, complaints and anything unsure go to you), and is checked every month. There’s no new tool for you to learn. If you already use a helpdesk like Gorgias, we connect to it rather than replace it.

What happens to my customers’ data?

It only reads what it needs to answer: your policies, and an order’s status when the customer gives a matching order number and email. We don’t sell data or use your store’s conversations to train public AI models. Conversations are kept only as long as needed for support and review, and we can delete them on request.

Does it work with my store platform?

It’s built for Shopify first. WooCommerce, BigCommerce and others work too, as long as orders can be looked up. Tell us what you use and we’ll confirm on the call.

Will customers know they’re talking to an AI?

Yes. It introduces itself as your store’s assistant and offers a human whenever someone asks. Customers mostly care about getting a fast, correct answer, and they get one.

Do I need to change my helpdesk or email?

No. The chat goes on your existing site, and handoffs arrive in the inbox or helpdesk you already use.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any month. There’s no long contract. The setup fee covers the build work and isn’t refunded once it’s live.

Who’s behind Polarly

Hi, I’m Nejc.

I build AI assistants for small online stores and set every one up myself, so you deal with one person who knows your store, not a support ticket queue.

I’m also sharing how Polarly gets built, mistakes included, in public.

Free, no strings

Start with a free inbox check.

Send us your store’s link and, if you like, 20–30 recent customer emails (remove names if you prefer). Within two business days you get a short report: which questions the assistant could answer, which it should hand to you, and what’s missing from your policies. It’s yours to keep, whether we work together or not.
